The Most Important Thing to Chris Forbes

I have found something that changed my life so much I had to share it with you! Because of what I learned about Jesus Christ and how to live truly connected spiritually with God--I know I can make it through even the toughest times. Before I knew Jesus Christ, I was unaware of the depth of what Christianity was all about. Now I know a lot more about it. Christ has impacted my life for the better. Knowing Him in my life is the most wonderful experience--more than a feeling!

I became convinced that Christ died for my sins, but I was shy to make a public profession of my faith in him. During an evening worship service while listening to the sermon, I had an overwhelming sense that I needed to repent of my sins and turn to Jesus Christ. In faith, I went forward in the worship service and accepted Christ, repenting of my sins and turning my life over to him.

After I first began to believe in Jesus I found new ways of looking at old things. I found I began to trust in God for things I used to worry over. Then Jesus brought out the spiritual being and humanitarian in me. My problems didn't all go away, but I began to have a whole new perspective about them. I started to notice and appreciate the most basic things in life—things like faith, hope and love! My attitude toward people began to focus not on pleasing just myself but on loving others.
